ABBA

Bio
ABBA - the Swedish pop group formed in the early 1970s by songwriters Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, with vocalists Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid “Frida” Lyngstad. Rising to international fame after winning the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest with “Waterloo,” they became one of the world’s most successful pop acts, delivering timeless hits such as “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” and “The Winner Takes It All.” Between 1974 and 1982, ABBA dominated global charts with impeccably crafted pop music and distinctive harmonized vocals. Although the group paused activities in the early 1980s, their legacy endured through record-breaking compilations, stage musicals, and films, most notably Mamma Mia!. In the 21st century, ABBA’s popularity surged anew, culminating in their 2021 comeback album Voyage and the groundbreaking digital concert experience ABBA Voyage, securing their place as one of pop music’s most enduring icons.
