Bio

Jão is a Brazilian singer-songwriter who rose in the national pop scene by turning emotional vulnerability into major hits. First gaining attention through YouTube covers, he broke through with the song “Imaturo” and quickly established himself as one of the most relevant voices of his generation.

His discography unfolds as a four-act narrative: “Lobos” (2018), a confessional debut that introduced him to a wider audience; “Anti-Herói” (2019), which expanded his reach with every track charting in Brazil; “Pirata” (2021), elevating his career with major hits and critical acclaim, earning him the first nomination to the Latin Grammys; and “Super” (2023), inspired by the four elements and responsible for record-breaking streaming numbers in Brazil.

In 2024, Jão expanded this universe with “Supernova”, a deluxe reissue of Super featuring new tracks that deepen the album’s narrative and serve as the closing chapter of this artistic era. Songs like “Religião,” “Acidente,” and “Paranoid” maintain the pop aesthetic while amplifying the project’s emotional and conceptual scope.

The era culminated in the SuperTour (2024), his most ambitious live production to date, spanning arenas and stadiums across Brazil, including landmark performances at Allianz Parque. The project cemented Jão as one of the leading names in contemporary Brazilian pop, blending storytelling, aesthetics, and performance on an unprecedented scale in his career.
