While 'Battle Scars' peaked at No. 71 on the Billboard chart, heavy radio play and strong weekly sales has seen the track cross the seven-figure mark this week.

The song has also received invaluable new exposure as the soundtrack to the trailer for Oprah Winfrey's new movie Lee Daniel's The Butler.

Battle Scars has sold over 560,000 copies in Australia, went Top 10 in Norway and to No. 2 in New Zealand.

The song was released in the US on August 28 last year and went gold - 500,000 sales - in May.

Guy is currently writing songs for his new album. He will return to Australia to join the Taylor Swift stadium tour later this year.
