MAGI is a Singer-songwriter based in Jaffa Tlv.

She is the daughter of Yemeni and Iraqi immigrants. With this mix of cultures, her music is a fusion of Hip Hop beats, percussions and traditional Arabic instruments that define the new sound and grooves of the wild West.

Her music is a cosmopolitan blend of female empowerment and sheik-chick.
While still preserving the cultural roots this song continues to grant a glimpse into modern urban life in the Middle East.

Born and bred in the Yemenite ghetto of south Tel Aviv, MAGI’s first sonic encounters included 2000 year-old Yemeni prayers and contemporary Iraqi music that was played in her grandmother’s house since childhood.

Once old enough to slip into dance clubs, she fell in love with the local underground EDM scene, adding synths and samplers to the soundtrack of her youth.

Her distinct flow and vocal trademark, genuine musical eagerness and charisma has touched the hearts of people from all around the globe. Audiences as diverse as Iraq and Germany, Yemen and France, Switzerland and Egypt, once again proves that music is the language of love that brings people together.

Over the past year, MAGI collaborated with Avi Nesher on two original songs for his film: "DUNYA" was selected for the soundtrack of Avi Nesher's recent film, The Monkey House, where MAGI performs the song in the final scene, and "Send Me Your Love”, a duet with actress Suzana Papian, which was released in August. Nesher directed the music video, and surprisingly, it's the first music video he’s directed in his illustrious career.

Exalted reviews emerged as her debut album “ALASHOO” was released in 2019. The single “SALAM YALBINT” was synched to Netflix’s hit series “SNOWPIERCER” (starring Jennifer Connelly and Sean Bean)

This year, MAGI was invited by Universal Music Publishing Group UK to record in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, alongside top British producers and songwriters. There, she wrote, produced, and performed “Jilala” with British producer Jimmy James, which was selected for the EA SPORTS FC 26 (FIFA 26) official soundtrack.

MAGI is the first artist signed to the Israeli branch of Universal Music Publishing, the only global publishing company with an office in Israel.
