Mika

Mika opened his pop career with the defining single ‘Grace Kelly’, which  was only the second British single to top the chart on downloads alone, and ended 2007 as the third biggest selling single in the UK that year. His total album sales from ‘Life In Cartoon Motion’ went beyond six million worldwide. Mika has been nominated for and won awards from the Brits, the Grammys, the Ivor Novellos, Capital Radio, Q magazine, The NRJs, The World Music Awards, BT and Vodaphone, Virgin Media and MTV’s Europe, Asia, Australia and Japan, amongst others. He is also the recipient of a 'Chevalier dans l'ordre des Arts et des Lettres'.

His second album ‘The Boy Who Knew Too Much’ was released in 2009 and continued the trend, making it into the Top 10 in over ten countries worldwide and containing the hits ‘We Are Golden’, ‘Blame It On The Girls’ and ‘Rain’.

In 2011 Mika released the French language single ‘Elle Me Dit’ which topped the French charts for eight weeks and became the second best selling single of the year in the process. He also won Best International Artist Of The Year at the 2012 NRJ Awards.

Mika's third studio album, 'The Origin of Love', was released in October 2012 and featured a long list of notable collaborators including; Pharrell Williams, frYars, William Orbit, Ellie Goulding and Nick Littlemore from Empire of the Sun.
