THE FLIPTONES is a music production duo made up of Chaz Mishan and David Delazyn. They are both classically trained musicians in jazz piano and guitar. Between the two of them, The Fliptones can play the piano, guitar, trumpet, French horn, accordion and cow bell.
They are credited for several number one records, including Jason Derulo’s hit single, “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts. The duo gained international acclaim with their production of G-Dragon and Taeyang’s single “Good Boy,” which reached No. 1 on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart. Called one of the best 10 songs of 2014 by Fuse magazine, the song has over 50 million views on YouTube.
The Fliptones' placements include: Lil Wayne, Jason Derulo, Ice Cube, Jessica Mauboy, Justice Crew, Drop City Yacht Club and Jake Miller. The Backstreet Boys have described them as “young cats” to watch out for.
They primarily produce in the pop genre, but have branched out, drawing influences from electronic music, jazz, hip hop and classical music.
They are both born and raised in Miami, and go back from time to time -- mostly for the music festivals and the beach.
