Tom Hodge

Tom Hodge is a composer, pianist & clarinettist from London. Through his various collaborations with artists including Max Cooper, Floex, Franz Kirmann, and Eivør, he pushes the boundaries of experimental contemporary classical, jazz, and electronic crossover. He has released three albums as Piano Interrupted, his electronic chamber music project with Franz Kirmann, and one album in collaboration with Floex which released on Mercury KX. His recent score work includes Kevin Macdonald’s film The Mauritanian, starring Jodie Foster and Benedict Cumberbatch, as well as ITV’s The Ipcress Files & BBC’s The Rise of the Nazis, for which he received an Ivor Novello nomination. He’s currently working on the upcoming second season of AMC / BBC’s TV series McMafia.

In addition to writing music for film, TV, ballet, and numerous commercials, Tom has provided arrangements for classical artists like cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason (Decca Records) and has created classical remixes of Daft Punk’s ‘Aerodynamic’ (Ministry of Sound) and ‘Paganini Rocks’ with Rob da Bank, Tom Middleton, and Au Revoir Simone (Sunday Best).
