Born into a musical family in Argentina, Sebastian Plano is a conservatory-trained cellist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. Exploring his strong roots in folk music and tango, and enchanted by the resonance of electronic music, he began to interpret his influences with his own sounds at age 12, and by age 13, he began playing on stage as a soloist. Sebastian’s conservatory background combined with his experimentation with electronic music has led to his unique, emotion-filled palette, which can be heard in his albums and felt in his live performances. Sebastian has collaborated with artist Celeste providing a powerful string arrangement for her new single Strange. In addition, his Verve album earned him a 2020 Grammy nomination for Best New Age Album.
