Bio
Vinida is one of the top female rappers in China. She first gained recognition in 2016 on ”Sing! China”, winning the Most Popular Trainee Award.
Her album “Vinida” won the Best Mandarin Female Newcomer award at the 18th Chinese Music Media Awards. In 2021, she appeared as a guest artist on “The Treasured Voice”.
In 2022, she competed in iQIYI’s hip-hop variety show “Rap of China: All-Star Season”, where her Fuzhou-dialect Afrobeat track “MoJiaDai” went viral. Its performance video received over 9 million views on Douyin within 24 hours, and the track amassed nearly 3 million streams on NetEase CloudMusic within a month.
She has collaborated with renowned artists including Mustard, Lay Zhang, Tia Ray, Lexie Liu, and Wilber Pan, and has created brand songs for M&M’s, Sprite, Pizza Hut, and Meituan.
