El pasado martes celebramos la primera edición de UMPG HIFI en 99 Records, un espacio creado para vivir la música de manera cercana y auténtica.

We are incredibly proud that UMPG artists and songwriters have won 21 Latin GRAMMYs this year. Among them were Record of the Year (Palmeras En El Jardín by Alejandro Sanz, Spreadlof and Elena Rose) and Album of the Year (DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS by Bad Bunny and La Paciencia). 

Other UMPG winners include Renee, Carin Leon, Andres Cepeda, Natalia Lafourcade, Jota.pê, Aitana and more. 

We are delighted to celebrate all our nominees for the 2025 Latin Grammys! UMPG have a total of 65 nominations across 32 categories. Notable nominations include Bad Bunny leading with a total of 12 nominations - including Record of the Year (with two songs), Album of the Year, Song of the Year (with two songs) and Best Urban Music Album, to name a few.

En una noche llena de talento y comunidad, The Sessions by UMPG México reunió a cinco compositoras para presentarse en el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer. Con un DJ Set de la artista Rplk, y un showcase acústico sorpresa de Fátima, Francely Abreuu, Renee y Mónica Vélez, el evento ofreció un espacio íntimo donde la sororidad y la música fueron protagonistas.

UMPG celebrated outstanding success at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards, representing 15 of Sunday night's Grammy Award winners, who garnered trophies across 19 genre-diverse categories, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year. In addition, UMPG Chairman & CEO Jody Gerson received the Recording Academy’s 2025 Industry Icon Award, recognizing her transformative leadership and impact on the music industry.

For the 67^th GRAMMY Awards nominations, UMPG songwriters, artists, producers and composers earned a record 111 nominations spanning 51 categories! Across genres, our talent contributed to many of this year’s most influential and culturally significant songs.

El reconocido HITMAKER de Música Mexicana Geovani Cabrera firmó un contrato global exclusivo con la editora Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) México. Con más de 15 años de carrera en la industria musical, y originario de Culiacán, Sinaloa en México, Cabrera es actualmente uno de los compositores más reconocidos y premiados de la música latina, específicamente por sus exitosos corridos y rancheras. 

La Sociedad de Autores y Compositores de México (SACM) celebró su entrega anual de los Premios Éxito, reconociendo a los compositores y obras más destacadas del año. 5 obras de Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) fueron galardonadas con los Premios Éxito SACM.

David Gray has been promoted to Managing Director, U.K. and Head of Global A&R for Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a leader in global music publishing, it was announced today by UMPG Chairman & CEO Jody Gerson, to whom Gray reports. Gray will relocate to London from New York in January. Passing the reins to Gray is longtime UMPG U.K. Managing Director Mike McCormack, who has established a consultancy and formed a joint venture with the company.
