Spotify have named Coldplay as their most streamed band in the entire world. The band have amassed over 5 billion streams on the service – 1 billion of which are for their most recent album ‘A Head Full of Dreams’.

UMPG songwriter Sebastian Kole’s original song “Incredible” was chosen by Target as the soundtrack to their new back-to-school ad campaign. UMPG worked in collaboration with advertising agency Deutsch to pitch writers and demos for the opportunity, which ultimately went to Kole.

Grammy-winning artist and UMPG songwriter Britney Spears has announced she will be releasing her new album Glory on August 26 via RCA. Spears, who has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and become one of the most successful artists of all time, calls the album “the beginning of a new era.” It’s her first new album since 2013’s Britney Jean. Her new single “Make Me…” (released July 15) is fast climbing charts worldwide.
