WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 20, 2015) - The National Music Publishers’ Association today announced that Jody Gerson, the new chairman and CEO of Universal Music Publishing Group, has officially joined the NMPA Board of Directors.

SANTA MONICA, CA (January 14, 2015) - Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) today announced the appointment of Marc Cimino to the newly created global position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. Cimino will report to Jody Gerson, UMPG’s Chairman and CEO, and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Santa Monica.

The deal marks the first time the Dominican superstar assigns his catalog to a major music publisher for worldwide representation.
