The boutique organization is led by coprincipals Savan Kotecha, a multiple Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated songwriter and producer, and leading global music executive Sonny Takhar, CEO and Founder of KYN Entertainment (a joint venture music entertainment company with Live Nation) and former Global President of Syco Music.

Tom Walker took home his first Brit, the award for British Breakthrough Act, Ariana Grande was crowned International Female Solo Artist, and Dua Lipa (Tap Publishing) won the award for British Single for "One Kiss" (with Calvin Harris).

Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a leading global music publishing company, today announced that Simon Baker has been promoted to General Manager, European Operations, effective immediately. Based in London, Baker will continue reporting to UMPG Chief Operating Officer Marc Cimino.

In his new position, Baker will continue to provide support on financial and business matters to UMPG’s European team of Managing Directors, including UK MD Mike McCormack.
