Lily Papas releases sophomore single 'Jackson' which comes after her debut single 'Wild'.

'Jackson' is her first single of 2020. Papas says of the single 'There’s something special about handwriting lyrics on a page. From the age of 8 when I first started writing music I always carried a journal with me. You never know when inspiration is going to hit. When I sat down to write Jackson with Phil and David I had no idea what the song was going to be about but I knew I needed to get something off my chest. Sometimes in life we hold onto hurtful things. I know this all too well. And it gets to a point where it starts to consume you. For me, this was holding onto a hurtful situation that happened at the beginning of my relationship. And it came to a point where I either had to let go of the hurt or choose to walk away. I chose to let go of the hurt. Jackson will forever hold a special place in my heart because it helped me let go and find happiness. I hope that this song resonates with all of you and it helps you through whatever hurt you're going through/ have been through."
