UMPG Australia have just announced the signing of Billy Davis to a global publishing deal. 

Melbourne based producer and songwriter, Billy Davis, is a leader in the Australian R&B and neo-soul scene. Well known for music directing and performing with Goldlink, Brockhampton, Tones And I and more on triple j’s Like A Version, Reimagining Jessica Mauboy's 2019 live tour, as well as music directing and performing Goldlink’s NPR Tiny Desk.

Along with building up a global network of creative collaborators, Billy has shared the stage with Ruel, Noname, Anderson Paak,  Thundamentals, Blackalicious just to name a few. He has played at Australia’s most recognised festivals including Let Them Eat Cake, Golden Plains, Laneway Festival, Lost Paradise and this year saw Billy Davis on the road supporting Tones and I across the recent UK and Europe tour throughout February and March and on her full rescheduled Australian tour in September.

The Billy Davis ‘Headspace’ remix featuring Nadine  Lustre, Curtismith and Massiah shot to #1 in The Philippines and is still in the top 5 most played on Pop radio. At one point he held 3 tracks in the Top 10 pop charts there including 2 singles for James Reid and Nadine.  Billy has amassed over 10 million combined streams and received accolades from Hypebeast , Sneaker Freaker, High Snobiety, Okay Player, LNWY, Acclaim, Purple Sneakers, Beat Magazine, Complex AU and Red Bull Music, as well as Australian national broadcaster triple j  and  Beats 1 .

Billy previously reworked Ruel’s standout single ‘Not Thinkin' Bout You’, currently with over a million youtube streams. His latest single I Ain't, of his forthcoming album, features close collaborator Jordan Dennis and iconic R&B heavyweight and multiple Grammy winner, PJ Morton.
