Holy Holy struck gold with their newest single ‘Faces’.
After the tracks premiere on Triple J the pair spoke to Veronica & Lewis about their upcoming national tour kicking off in Newcastle.
The Music Magazine have dubbed them as “at the top of their game” with this track and front man Tim has reflected, “It’s a snapshot of what it is to be alive at the moment, all these different lives interacting…”
This tangent is the follow up from their critically acclaimed sophomore album Paint that debuted at #7 on the ARIA album chart.
‘Faces’ runs with high toned complex rhythmic vocal sections as backing vocals that juxtapose with the gritty and low frequency of the lead vocalists brooding tone. The track is exhilarating, interesting and contagious with every listen.
‘Faces’ is the first preview of an upcoming LP that is due out early 2019 by the duo.
