After dropping their single ‘Outlaw’ Deep Sea Arcade have now released their follow up track 'Close To Me'.
The duo have just finished a run of shows on Australia’s east coast, gearing up for the release of their sophomore full-length album ‘Blacklight’.
This is the bands first release in a few years, Nic McKenzie, singer and lyricist reflects, “On the first album I’d always hide behind something and hide vulnerability, and it left me feeling detached...On this record I feel like I had the balls to actually go, no, I am vulnerable and I’m going to say things about being vulnerable and when I speak to the audience I am that person.”
This track takes the listener into a psychedelic trance, but the lyrics and melodies still capture the different stages of vulnerability with complete ease.
