Following the release of ‘View Looks So Good’, NZ born / Melbourne based singer, songwriter Lakyn, has released brand new single ‘West’, a song about Lakyn’s own ambition and self-worth: “it’s about not getting too comfortable in any one place, and always pushing yourself to work harder, to do better.”  

Since the release last Friday, August 18, the song has been featured on 6 Spotify Playlists including 'New Music Friday' and earned the cover of the 'Brand New Music Playlist'. ‘West’ also hit #4 on Apple Music’s 'Best of the Week’ and a spot on Rolling Stone Magazines' ‘5 for Friday’ picks.
