Melbourne based producer/singer/songwriter Woodes, have just released her brand new single ‘Run For It’. The song marks her first solo release since her acclaimed debut self-titled EP that was released last year, which clocked over 3 million streams in total.
 
“The lyrics stem from accepting things being within the nature of certain people,” said Woodes. "If I see something that doesn’t sit well with me I call it out. There was potential for the song to stay in a dark place but the chorus was important for me to shift the energy positively. A warning. Signifying things are changing.”

The single comes after her recent performances at SXSW and spending some time writing in the US and Bali. With lots of new material, Woodes is taking her live show on an intimate 3-date tour in July.
