Melbourne based MC Illy has just dropped his brand new single ‘Papercuts’ giving a taste of what is to come off his upcoming album, bringing his count up to five studio releases. For this release, Illy has called upon UMPG songstress Vera Blue and Grammy winning producer M-Phazes.

After premiering the new record on Triple J earlier this week, Illy says the new tune is "a really good first taste of the album... it's in a different direction and I think this album is going in a really unique way as well."

"I really tried to do with this album something that no-one else in Australian hip-hop's been doing."
