The Seven Network have licensed Gang of Youths’ anthemic rock track “Strange Diseases” in a promo for The Durrells, a British TV series based on the autobiographical books by Gerrard Durrell, which tell the story of his family’s time on Corfu in the late 1930’s.

The uplifting choir vocals from the track can be heard throughout the promo, paired with the stunning scenery of the Greek island and the introduction of the series’ characters. The spot will run for the next 8 weeks with variations and cut-downs, across Free to Air TV and Online.

“Strange Diseases” is the first single release off upcoming EP Let Me Be Clear due out in August this year. The band have had an incredible 2016 thus far, finishing up a debut UK tour, including playing The Great Escape Music Festival, as well as a coast-to-coast US tour.
