The tale of legendary Australian entertainer, singer and UMP songwriter Peter Allen will be told in a highly anticipated 2-part biopic to air on the 7 Network this September. Starring a bevy of well-known Australia actors such as Sigrid Thornton, Rebecca Gibney and up-coming star Joel Jackson as Peter Allen himself, the show will, of course, feature a soundtrack of Allen’s classic hits. 

Two particular favourites, “I Got To Rio” and “I Still Call Australia Home” have been licensed for the trailer of the glittering tele-movie and can be seen for the next 3 months across the network and online in Australia. 

Peter Allen’s catalogue is no stranger to the world of licensing with his hits being further immortalised across film, TV and through the universally acclaimed stage show “The Boy From Oz.” And of course the brand partnership with Qantas Airlines and their “I Still Call Australia Home” campaign which has been running for more than two decades.
