After the critically acclaimed debut record 'The Submarine' was released late in 2007, Whitley's (Lawrence Greenwood) songs began to work their way into the world through almost every medium. Due to word of mouth and a dynamic live show, it wasn't long before he was playing sold out venues to loyal fans at home and abroad.

In what seems a very short time Whitley has been voted as Rolling Stone Magazine's Top Ten Breaking Artist, completed endless sold-out Australian tours, played sold out shows across the USA and become a sweetheart of festival goers who generally get more than they bargained for. Shows varied from solo intimate acoustic shows to a six-piece band display of 'edgy power-pop on the verge of collapse'.

Lawrence is currently residing in London where he has just begun work on his third record, and first outside of the Whitley moniker.
