Last year was another good year for Jon Green. It began with the release of 'Midnight' which was a Zane Lowe 'Hottest Record' and was an excellent introduction to the world of Tor Miller. March saw the release of the biggest British debut album internationally: 'The Chaos and the Calm' by James Bay. It reached the top 5 of iTunes in 59 countries (Number 1 in 21 of them) and features the Jon Green co-write 'When We Were on Fire' plus on the deluxe version, the song 'Stealing Cars' which Jon co-wrote and produced. Over the summer Jon co-produced Tor Miller’s forthcoming debut album with Eliot James which features five co-writes.
The autumn saw the release of James Morrison’s new album 'Higher Than Here', the title track being a Jon co-write and production. He also had cuts with Ben Haenow, Jack Savoretti (the single 'Catapult') and the final single of the year from 5 Seconds of Summer called 'Jet Black Heart', a co-write with Dave Hodges and the band.
Jon splits his time between London, LA and particularly Nashville where he regularly writes with Laura Velz, Dave Barnes, Nathan Chapman, Busbee, Gordie Sampson, Tom Douglas, Lucie Silvas, Liz Rose, Jeremy Spillman and many others
Favourite sessions of the year include Frances, Rag N Bone Man, Linkin Park, and Aquilo which are set to see the light of day this coming year.
