Jeremy Bussey grew up in the small town of Sylvan Springs, Alabama just outside of Birmingham. At the age of 5 his grandparents offered to pay for his piano lessons. It was the beginning of what would become a life long passion.
In November of 2009, Jeremy and his wife, Christy moved to Nashville. He began working with Ron Stuve at Universal Music Publishing Group in 2010. Since that time he has had his songs cut by artist like Jason Aldean, Thompson Square, Mark Wills, Lonestar, X-Factor winner Tate Stevens and David Fanning. He has also had his songs placed in TV/Film as well. Thompson Square is scheduled to release “You Make It Looks So Good” as their upcoming single in June of 2016.
During his time as a writer for Universal Music Publishing Group, Jeremy has worked with incredible Nashville songwriters like David Lee, Rivers Rutherford, Jordan Rager, Chase McGill, Cole Taylor and Ryan Hurd to name a few. He continues to pour his life and passion into every song.
“Having the opportunity to work with so many talented writers, producers and programmers has really helped to stretch me personally as a songwriter. I’m enjoying the challenge of learning, growing and evolving as a writer. It’s an incredible journey and I’m blessed to get to do what I love. I couldn’t ask for much more than that.”
