Eminem’s seventh studio album, Recovery debuted No. 1 in both the U.S. and U.K. marking his sixth straight album to hit the No. 1 spot. The album sold over 140,000 in the first week of sales in the U.K. - so far the biggest week one album sales in 2010. Eminem’s lead single “Not Afraid” debuted No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, No. 1 on the iTunes charts, and Top 10 on the UK Singles chart. The second single, “Love the Way You Lie” feat. Rihanna, debuted Top 10 in the U.K. The song was produced by UMPG’s Alex da Kid, producer of B.o.B’s hit “Airplanes” which featured Eminem on the remix.
