Already having penned songs for today’s biggest chart-toppers, including Usher, Ciara, Ruben Studdard, Tony Braxton, Avant, LaToya, Kelly Rowland, Xzibit, and the Pussycat Dolls, Keri Hilson is a proven musical force. 2008 will see Hilson’s debut album In A Perfect World, featuring collaborations and guest appearances from Timbaland, who executive produced the album, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, Polow da Don, Danja, Justin Timberlake, and The Clutch among others.
Hilson recently received multiple honors at the 2008 ASCAP POP MUSIC AWARDS with the songs “Ice Box,” Runaway Love,” and “The Way I Are.” The Timbaland feat Keri Hilson song, “The Way I Are” became a worldwide smash reaching No .3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Keri Hilson is also part of a collective super group of songwriters known as The Clutch, responsible for a series of hit songs, including: Mary J. Blige’s “Take Me As I Am,” Ciara’s “Like A Boy,” and Omarion’s “Ice Box.” The Clutch also boasts UMPG songwriters Candice Nelson and Balewa Muhammad.
