Florence & The Machine, Lily Allen, and Friendly Fires Lead the Charge at BRITS

UMPG artists and songwriters were well represented in last night's BRIT awards held at London's Earls Court Arena. UMPG celebrated a publishing interest in a total of 17 nominations, with Florence & The Machine and Lily Allen gaining three nominations each and Friendly Fires two. Florence & The Machine and Dizzee Rascal teamed up at the awards to perform a mash-up entitled "You Got The Dirtee Love."

UMPG Songwriters Own the GRAMMYs

UMPG songwriters received 30 GRAMMY awards at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. The show included performances by UMPG's Elton John, Mary J. Blige, Bon Jovi, and Eminem. Eminem also took home two awards from the show: Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group with "Crack A Bottle" (including Dr. Dre and UMPG's 50 Cent) and Best Rap Album for Relapse.
