Universal Music Publishing Group - Australia has led the charge at the 2009 APRA awards taking home three awards - the most of any publisher.

After a celebrated 15 year career, spanning 5 hit records and countless hit singles, The Living End frontman Chris Cheney has remarkably taken home his first ever APRA award, winning 'Song of the Year' for the instant Australian rock classic "White Noise."

UMPG’s Harvey Mason Jr. has Completed Production of the Film "More Than A Game"

UMPG’s Harvey Mason Jr. has just completed production of the film, "More Than A Game", featuring NBA MVP LeBron James. The film follows LeBron and his childhood friends as they chase their dream of a high school basketball national championship.

In addition to producing the film, Harvey composed the score and is working on original songs for the soundtrack which will include the song “If You Dream” featuring an all-star line-up of today's biggest artists.

"More Than A Game" will be released though Lions Gate on October 2, 2009.
