Universal Music Publishing Group Nashville has signed an exclusive, global publishing deal with Sony Music recording artist Rachel Wammack.
Rachel Wammack made the moved from Muscle Shoals, Alabama to Nashville, Tennessee in the summer of 2016. With her powerful vocals and unique songwriting ability, she attracted the attention of many publishers in town and has become one of Nashville’s most talked about new artists. The UMPG team is thrilled to welcome Rachel into the family.
“From the very first note I heard Rachel sing, I was hooked. I’ve never heard a more naturally gifted singer who can pull you in with texture and emotion on one end and then let it rip while still maintaining tone and control. Rachel’s melodies, phrasing, lyrical ideas and instincts always come from a unique place and I think that’s why some of Music Row’s best writers have fallen in love with Rachel and the artistic vision she’s building. I cannot wait for the world to hear what Rachel has been working on” says UMPG’s Travis Gordon.
Rachel is currently writing and spending time in the studio as she records for her upcoming release on Sony Music Nashville.
