Congratulations to UMPG writer Kane Brown on his third single from his debut album being certified gold by the RIAA. This milestone marks the singer/songwriter's second Gold-certified single and his first Top 20 hit.
“What Ifs,” written by Brown, Matt McGinn, and Jordan Schmidt, is an upbeat song with a refreshing and optimistic outlook on a relationship. “What Ifs” features Lauren Alaina, a fellow Georgia native and former class mate of Brown. Together they team up with their impressive vocals to make this song an undeniable hit. Produced by 9-time ACM Award-winning producer Dann Huff, “What Ifs” is steadily climbing the country charts.
“What Ifs” is included on Brown’s self-titled album which remains country’s best-selling new-artist debut of the past two and a half years. Brown also wrote seven of the eleven tracks included on his self-titled album.
