Judah Kelly’s album ‘Count On Me’ debuted at #1 this week on the Australian Artist, Country Album and the Digital Album Charts and #3 on the ARIA Album Chart. This follows the #1 single on the iTunes chart and #3 on the Spotify Australian Viral chart. The second single is an original track off the album called ‘Kingdom Come’.
The album Count On Me is a selection of songs that reflects Judah's wealth of experience as a performing and recording musician. He will showcase songs off the album during a run of shows throughout September – tour dates below.
For five years he has worked as a live bass player, guitarist and studio session player. Including that life-changing version of Tennessee Whiskey, the rest of the album showcases a unique and passionate slant on the country genre, as well as Judah's resolution to make his own mark as an artist – four songs on the album are not covers. This is a first for a ‘winner’s album’.
As for the future, Judah says, "the main thing for me is to keep it real and to keep making music that makes people feel something, I want to make something with meaning. That's what the goal is. If it gets bigger than that, that's a pretty cool bonus."
